The person that steadfastly refuses to eat for any reason other than stimulating their taste buds is headed for serious disease and serious micronutrient deficiency. Try to get many different foods. Eat all the (naturally occurring) colours of the rainbow. The colours of food are often indicative of their nutrients. Raw foods are also really important. Not that all your food should be raw but a reasonable percentage should be.
Raw vegetable juice fasting is an excellent way to boost your nutrients. Don’t expect to be able to eat all fruits and vegetables overnight, but slowly start to include things, it may be the most important thing you do for your health, particularly if you are suffering micronutrient deficiencies.
